Vendia janae
Taxonomy
Vendia janae was named by Ivantsov (2001). Its type specimen is PIN 3993/5070 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yorgia Bed, Zimnergorsk, which is in a Vendian prodelta sandstone in the Zimnegory Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Paravendia.
It was recombined as Paravendia janae by Ivantsov (2001), Ivantsov (2004).
