Taxonomy
Vendia rachiata was named by Ivantsov (2004). Its type specimen is PIN 4853/63 and is an impression. Its type locality is Pizzeria, which is in an Ediacaran basinal (siliciclastic) sandstone in the Trepassey Formation of Canada.
