Taxonomy
Meoma roigi was named by Lambert (1921). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is EstacĂon de Ceiba, F. C. de Marianao, which is in a Miocene/Miocene marine horizon in Cuba.
It was recombined as Pericosmus roigi by Sanchez Roig (1926); it was considered a nomen nudum by Kier (1984).
