Angistorhinus aeolamnis
Taxonomy
Angistorhinus aeolamnis was named by Eaton (1965). Its type specimen is KU 11659, a partial skull (Skull lacking lower jaw), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sage Creek locality, Univ. Kansas party, limestone layer, which is in a Carnian terrestrial limestone in the Popo Agie Formation of Wyoming.
It was synonymized subjectively with Angistorhinus megalodon by Long and Murry (1995).
