Taxonomy
Pseudosaynella was named by Spath (1923) [Sepkoski's age data: K Apti-l K Albi-l]. It is the type genus of Pseudosaynellinae.

It was assigned to Ammonoidea by Imlay (1945); to Ammonoidea by Sepkoski (2002); and to Pseudosaynellinae by Wright et al. (1996), El Qot (2018).
