Gobiates khermeentsavi

Taxonomy
Gobiates khermeentsavi was named by Spinar and Tatarinov (1986). Its type specimen is PIN 31/42/1, a skull (well-preserved skull and first three presacral vertebrae), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khermeen Tsav, Red Beds (PIN coll. 3142) [SMPE], which is in a Campanian/Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Baruungoyot Formation of Mongolia.

It was synonymized subjectively with Gobiates sosedkoi by Ročec and Nessov (1993).
