Araripesuchus rattoides
Taxonomy
Araripesuchus rattoides was named by Sereno and Larsson (2009). Its type specimen is CMN 41893, a mandible (right dentary preserving alveoli 1-14), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tafilalt region (NMC/CMN), which is in an Albian/Cenomanian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone in Morocco.
