The spellings Zurcherella Casey 1954 and Zuercherella Casey 1954 are alternative spellings of the same name. The original source uses an umlaut (Zücherella), which is today conventionally anglicized as Zuecherella.

Taxonomy
Zuercherella was named by Casey (1954) [Zurcherella spelling: Sepkoski's age data: K Barr-u K Apti-u Zuercherella spelling: Sepkoski's age data: K Apti].

It was assigned to Ammonoidea by Delamette et al. (1997), Sepkoski (2002); to Beudanticeratinae by Arkell et al. (1957), Wright et al. (1996), Szives (2007); and to Uhligellinae by Latil et al. (2023), Latil et al. (2023).
