Leptosuchus studeri
Taxonomy
Leptosuchus studeri was named by Case and White (1934). Its type specimen is UMMP 14267, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is near Rotten Hill, which is in a Carnian/Norian fluvial siliciclastic in the Tecovas Formation of Texas.
It was synonymized subjectively with Leptosuchus crosbiensis by Long and Murry (1995).
