Bittium nugatorium
Taxonomy
Bittium nugatorium was named by Brown and Pilsbry (1911). Its type specimen is ANSP (no number), a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Woodring Loc. 138 [lower Gatun Fm], which is in a Miocene marine sandstone in the Gatun Formation of Panama.
