Santaisaurus yuani
Taxonomy
Santaisaurus yuani was named by Koh (1940). Its type specimen is IVPP RV40127, a partial skeleton (partial skull incl. both mandibular rami, some vertebrae, large part of pectoral girdle, partial left forelimb), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Fukang-Jimsar area, which is in an Induan fluvial-lacustrine sandstone in the Jiucaiyuan Formation of China. It is the type species of Santaisaurus.
