Microcnemus efremovi
Taxonomy
Microcnemus efremovi was named by Huene (1940). Its type specimen is PIN 2252/387 (lectotype, designated by Ivakhnenko et al., 1997), a limb element (right femur), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vakhnevo locality, which is in an Olenekian fluvial sandstone in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Microcnemus.
