Chasmatosuchus rossicus
Taxonomy
Chasmatosuchus rossicus was named by Huene (1940). Its type specimen is 2252/381 (lectotype, designated by Sennikov, 1995), a set of vertebrae (two articulated dorsal vertebrae), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vakhnevo locality, which is in an Olenekian fluvial sandstone in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Chasmatosuchus.
