Taxonomy
Clavatula candida was named by Hinds (1844). It is extant.

It was recombined as Pleurotoma candida by Reeve (1845); it was recombined as Mangilia candida by Tryon (1884); it was recombined as Clathurella candida by Grant and IV and Gale (1931); it was recombined as Glyphostoma (Euglyphostoma) candida by Woodring (1970).
