Taxonomy
Rotoides tretomesota was named by Gutschick et al. (1967). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Holotype, UMo E-45-15; paratypes, UMo E-45-14 and is a 3D body fossil. It is the type species of Rotoides.
