Taxonomy
Praeeuphronides concavus was named by Mostler (1971). It is considered to be a form taxon. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Steinbergkogel, Steiermark, Ammonitenlage N2, which is in a Norian offshore wackestone in the Hallstatt Formation of Austria.
