Eocaudina ramosa was named by Kozur and Mostler (1971). It is considered to be a form taxon. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Köveskál, Longobardian beds, which is in a Longobardian deep subtidal limestone in the Buchenstein Formation of Hungary.
