Taxonomy
Agladrillia subvaricosa was named by Gardner (1938). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Loc. 5079 - Shell Bluff [Shoal River Fm], which is in a Serravallian marine marl/sandstone in the Shoal River Formation of Florida.
It was recombined as Clathrodrillia subvaricosa by Woodring (1970).
