Priscopedatus mostleri was named by Zawidzka (1971). It is considered to be a form taxon. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is NE part of Chochlowaska Valley, which is in an Anisian shallow subtidal limestone in the Furkaska Formation of Poland.
