Taxonomy
Palaeacmaea primula was named by Perner (1903) [Palaeacmaea primula Barrande in Perner 1903]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Osek, which is in a Sarka offshore shale in the Sarka Formation of Czechia.
It was recombined as Patelliconus primulus by Horný (1961), Horný (1963), Yochelson (1977), Horný (2009), Wagner (2023).
