Araxonautilus nodosus
Taxonomy
Araxonautilus nodosus was named by Shimanskiy (1979). Its type specimen is PIN 1572/434 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Avush Gorge, Dzhulfian Stage, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine horizon in the Julfa Formation of Azerbaijan. It is the type species of Araxonautilus.
