Taxonomy
Guichiella subrotunda was named by Li and Ding (1981). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dalongshan Section Bed 3, Panjiaqiao, Guichi, which is in a Smithian carbonate shale/limestone in the Qinglong Formation of China.
