Penascoceras northropi
Taxonomy
Domatoceras northropi was named by Miller and Unklesbay (1942) [University of New Mexico]. Its type specimen is UNM 316 and is a mold. Its type locality is Bluewater Dam, which is in a Kungurian coastal siliciclastic in the Chupadera Formation of New Mexico.
It was recombined as Penascoceras northropi by Ruzhentsev and Shimanskiy (1954).
