Taxonomy
Cyrtorostra obeliscus was named by Liang (1980). It is a mold. Its type locality is Debosi northeast, Ke'erqin Youqi Qianqi, which is in a Wordian/Capitanian marine horizon in the Wujiatun Formation of China.
