Parikimys carpenteri
Taxonomy
Parikimys carpenteri was named by Wilson et al. (2010). Its type specimen is DMNH 52224, a mandible (left dentary fragment with p4-m2 and p3 alveolus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ingrid's Jaw, which is in a Lancian channel sandstone in the Laramie Formation of Colorado.
