Taxonomy
Mirabella ridicula was named by Barskova (1988). Its type specimen is PIR 4246/8, Y-87/17b, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Micrina ridicula by de Bruijn et al. (2007), Wagner (2023).
