Krumbeckiella was named by Ichikawa (1958) [Sepkoski's age data: Tr Nori-l]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Pterioida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Pergamidiidae by Yin and McRoberts (2006), Ros-Franch et al. (2014).
