Kelyophis hechti
Taxonomy
Kelyophis hechti was named by LaDuke et al. (2010). Its type specimen is University of Antananarivo 9682, a set of vertebrae, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is MAD93-01 (SUNY), which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial horizon in the Maevarano Formation of Madagascar. It is the type species of Kelyophis.
