R. D. Hoare et al. 1978Small nearly equivalved moderately inequilateral pterinid with prosocline valves bearing only concentric growth lines.

Description.-Small pteroid shells with small anterior and large posterior auricular areas which are not produced. Hinge line straight. Ligament apparently opisthodetic. No radial ornamentation.
