Periclaraia circularis

Taxonomy

Periclaraia circularis was named by Li and Ding (1981). Its type specimen is H1234, a valve (Right valve), and it is a mold. It is the type species of Periclaraia.

Synonyms

Periclaraia reticulata was named by Li and Ding (1981). Its type specimen is H1242, a valve (Right valve), and it is a mold. Its type locality is Majiashan Section Bed 7, Chaoxian County, which is in a Spathian carbonate limestone in the Qinglong Formation of China.

It was synonymized subjectively with Periclaraia circularis by Chen and Komatsu (2002).
Periclaraia chaoxianensis was named by Li and Ding (1981). Its type specimen is H1241, a valve (Right valve), and it is a mold. Its type locality is Majiashan Section Bed 9, Chaoxian County, which is in a Spathian carbonate limestone in the Qinglong Formation of China.

It was synonymized subjectively with Periclaraia circularis by Chen and Komatsu (2002).
