Taxonomy
Janaija magnoplicata was named by Kurushin (1987). Its type specimen is TsSGM 834/118 (1410/118), a shell (Conjoined shell), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tsvetkov Cape, Longobardian, eastern Taimyr, which is in a Longobardian marine horizon in the Russian Federation.
