Taxonomy
Xiaoqiaoceras involutus was named by Brayard and Bucher (2008). Its type specimen is PIMUZ 25948 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jinya Section Jin4, which is in a Smithian slope lime mudstone in China.
