Taxonomy
Arroyocrinus stokesi was named by Strimple and Miller (1977). Its type specimen is SUI 44080, a calyx, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dry Creek Canyon, Wasatch Mountains, which is in a Wuchiapingian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Park City Formation of Utah.
