Taxonomy

Paradoxipecten jiaheensis was named by Zhang (1981). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yuanjia, Jiahe Region (Longtan Fm), which is in a Wuchiapingian marine siliciclastic in the Longtan Formation of China.

Synonyms

Paradoxipecten rarocostatus was named by Zhang (1981). It is a mold. Its type locality is Yuanjia, Jiahe Region (Longtan Fm), which is in a Wuchiapingian marine siliciclastic in the Longtan Formation of China.

It was synonymized subjectively with Paradoxipecten jiaheensis by Fang (1987), Chen et al. (1997).
Etheripecten subquadratus was named by Zhang (1981). It is a mold. Its type locality is Yuanjia, Jiahe Region (Longtan Fm), which is in a Wuchiapingian marine siliciclastic in the Longtan Formation of China.

It was synonymized subjectively with Paradoxipecten jiaheensis by Fang (1987), Chen et al. (1997).
