Capillonia semicircularis

Taxonomy
Lissochonetes semicircularis was named by Campbell (1953). Its type specimen is UQ F14261, a valve (Ventral valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UQ L999, Dry Creek, Ingelara, which is in a Wuchiapingian coastal mudstone in the Peawaddy Formation of Australia.

It was recombined as Capillonia semicircularis by Waterhouse (1986), Parfrey (1988).
