Taxonomy
Streblotrypa etheridgei was named by Bretnall (1926). Its type specimen is AM F17550 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mount Marmion, Balmaningarra Station (AMF collection), which is in an Artinskian carbonate limestone in the Noonkanbah Formation of Australia.
