Nothogomphodon danilovi
Taxonomy
Nothogomphodon danilovi was named by Tatarinov (1974). Its type specimen is PIN 2865/1, a partial skull (Anterior part of a skull with lower jaw), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Berdyanka II (locality 32), PIN 2865, which is in an Anisian deltaic sandstone in the Donguz Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Nothogomphodon.
