Taxonomy
Neoplagiaulax donaldorum was named by Scott and Krause (2006). Its type specimen is UM 84178, a mandible (left dentary with p4, m1-2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Douglass Quarry, which is in a Tiffanian terrestrial horizon in Montana.
