Taxonomy
Guadalupia ramescens was named by Finks (2010). Its type specimen is USNM 127672 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM703a, Old Word Ranch, Glass Mountains, which is in a Kungurian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Road Canyon Formation of Texas.
