Taxonomy
Guadalupia vasa was named by Finks (2010). Its type specimen is AMNH 44850 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM706c, Hess Canyon, Glass Mountains, which is in a Roadian marine limestone in the Word Formation of Texas.
