Wimanius odontopalatus
Taxonomy
Wimanius odontopalatus was named by Maisch and Matzke (1998). It is not extant. Its type specimen is GPIT 1797, a partial skull. Its type locality is Monte San Giorgio nothosaurs, which is in an Anisian/Ladinian offshore shale in the Monte San Giorgio bituminous shales Formation of Switzerland. It is the type species of Wimanius.
