Protopterus crassidens
Taxonomy
Protopterus crassidens was named by Churcher and De Iuliis (2001). Its type specimen is ROM 47635, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is High Bluff, Two Red Hills, which is in a Campanian deltaic shale in the Quseir Formation of Egypt.
