Kanokurachonetes kanokurensis
Taxonomy
Kanokurachonetes kanokurensis was named by Afanasjeva and Tazawa (2010). Its type specimen is PIN 5313/1, a valve (ventral valve), and it is a mold. Its type locality is Doyasawa KN2, Kamiyasse, which is in a Wordian coastal sandstone in the Kanokura Formation of Japan. It is the type species of Kanokurachonetes.
