Trucidocynodon riograndensis
Taxonomy
Trucidocynodon riograndensis was named by Oliveira et al. (2010). Its type specimen is UFRGS PV-1051-T, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Varzea do Agudo site , which is in a Carnian/Norian floodplain mudstone/sandstone in the Santa Maria Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Trucidocynodon.
