Barberenasuchus brasiliensis
Taxonomy
Barberenasuchus brasiliensis was named by Mattar (1987). Its type specimen is MCPUCRGS-220, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sítio Cortado, RST 287 Highway, which is in a Ladinian floodplain mudstone/sandstone in the Santa Maria Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Barberenasuchus.
