Liu et al. 2011"Small- to medium-sized Eosauropterygia with preorbital region of skull distinctly longer than postorbital region; upper temporal fossa present and distinctly smaller than orbit; supraoccipital exposed more or less horizontally at posterior end of parietal skull table; trough on dorsal surface of retroarticular process present; vertebral centrum with parallel lateral edges; pachyostosis of dorsal ribs present; posterior process on (T-shaped) interclavicles rudimentary or absent; entepicondylar foramen present; radius longer than ulna."
