Dipsacaster jadeti
Taxonomy
Dipsacaster jadeti was named by Breton et al. (1995). Its type specimen is Holotype D.S. 01, Laboratoire de Géologie Sédimentaire et Paléontologie, University of Toulouse and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Le Jadet quarry, Petites Pyrénées, Haute-Garonne, which is in a Maastrichtian open shallow subtidal grainstone/mudstone in the Calcaire Nankin Formation of France.
