Flexoptychites bugunzhensis
Taxonomy
Flexoptychites bugunzhensis was named by Shevyrev (1968). Its type specimen is PIN 1477/522 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bugunzha River, Ptychites-Flexoptychites beds (Il'ina coll), which is in a Pelsonian marine carbonate in the Acheshbok Formation of the Russian Federation.
