Jaworskiella (Quadratojaworskiella) was named by Reyes and Perez (1980) [Sepkoski's age data: J Sine Sepkoski's reference number: 1115]. Its type is Jaworskiella (Quadratojaworskiella) pustulata.

It was reranked as Quadratojaworskiella by Sepkoski (2002) and Pérez et al. (2008).

It was assigned to Jaworskiella by Reyes and Perez (1980); to Trigonioida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Frenguelliellinae by Pérez et al. (2008).
