Besanosaurus leptorhynchus
Taxonomy
Besanosaurus leptorhynchus was named by Dal Sasso and Pinna (1996). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Monte San Giorgio nothosaurs, which is in an Anisian/Ladinian offshore shale in the Monte San Giorgio bituminous shales Formation of Switzerland.
